“backwards - forwards"

Upon request by the Museum of Architecture, Lucerne artist Edith Flückiger video-interviewed the architecture of the „Domushaus“, a building completed in 1958 by architects Rasser&Vadi. The result is a kind of artistic documentation. There are two dimensions to this piece of research; while focusing on specific architectural features of the house, in particular the glass curtain wall and the elements of the primary supporting structure – Flückiger projects moving images of past exhibitions along the walls as if to conjure up the museum’s history in a dream sequence.
